Privacy policy
At The Howler Monkeys Club we take your privacy seriously. Here's what data we ask for and what we do with it — no fine print.
Who's the data controller
The data controller is Albert L.G., who runs the The Howler Monkeys Club movement (Badalona, Spain). For any privacy matter, write to hola@thehowlermonkeys.club.
What data we collect
When you join the crew via the form, we collect your email address, the site language, confirmation of your consent and the date and time of sign-up. To curb spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile and may store a technical, non-identifying trace of the request.
Why, and on what legal basis
We use your email only to keep you posted on stand stuff: launches, meet-ups, the anthem, movement news. The legal basis is your consent. We don't use your data for third-party advertising and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you want to receive our updates. You can opt out at any time and we'll delete your data.
Where it's stored and who accesses it
The site runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure (hosting and anti-spam). Sign-ups are handled by Brevo, an email-marketing platform with EU servers that stores your email with double opt-in. Both act as our data processors; we don't share your data with anyone else.
Cookies and analytics
To understand how the site is used we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses NO cookies and collects no personal data, and is always on. In addition, only if you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics, which does set measurement cookies (you can reject them, and change your mind anytime by clearing your browser cookies). We don't use advertising cookies and we don't sell your data.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@thehowlermonkeys.club. If you feel we haven't handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if how we handle data changes. The current version will always be published on this page.
